TRAINING
Anna Clark Miller, LPC-S, LMHC-S takes a religiously neutral stance when facilitating clinical training for therapists, social workers, and other helping professionals who want to promote healing for survivors of high-control religious groups and cults. Training content pulls from relevant research data and evidence based treatment strategies in a clinical setting. Trainings can be done virtually or in-person.

Many of them carry the heavy burdens of spiritual shame, fear of eternal consequences, rigid thinking, identity confusion, rejection from their communities, and more. This historically underserved population is in desperate need of trauma-informed care from professionals with training on this unique issue.

I offer 1-hour virtual consultations for helping professionals. We can focus on whatever topic(s) you want, but my primary specialties are assessing and treating religious trauma and cult survivors and recognizing high-control group dynamics.

CLINICAL SUPERVISION
I'm an approved clinical supervisor for masters-level LPC-Associates and LMHC-Associates practicing in Texas and Washington. As a supervisor, my primary goal is to develop my supervisees' clinical effectiveness and empower them as they get started in the counseling profession. In our supervision sessions, we'll discuss client cases, therapeutic interventions, ethical considerations, clinical documentation, and other client-related or counseling practice challenges you encounter. My goal is to equip you with the tools you need to form robust case conceptualizations, design and implement effective treatment, and manage your private practice with confidence.
